Membership Information

Why become a member?

Membership brings you into a community of American manufacturing professionals who solve hard problems together. Members benefit from cross-disciplinary insight, practical collaboration, shared standards, collective advocacy, and access to programs, initiatives, and economic support opportunities that advance the shared interests of the membership and strengthen the manufacturing profession as a whole.

How are dues used?

Dues are payments made by members to support the organization’s activities that help us advance our shared interests. 


Your dues may fund:

  • Advocacy and representation, including lobbying*
  • Education and professional development 
  • Access to shared tools, research, or resources
  • Collective programs or initiatives
  • Member networking events


Annual membership cost

$50/year


While PGMP is a non-profit for the benefit of its members, it's important to note it is not a charity and therefore dues, contributions, grants, or other types of funding are not considered tax deductible charitable donations. Notice Regarding Dues and Lobbying Activities

Pretty Good Manufacturing Professionals may engage in advocacy or lobbying activities that advance the common business and professional interests of its members. Under federal tax law, a portion of membership dues may be used for lobbying or political advocacy activities. Members are encouraged to consult their tax advisors regarding the deductibility of dues.
